REVOKING EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED FORTY, SERIES OF NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN, AND CONVERTING THE AREA EMBRACED THEREIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF NAGA, MUNICIPALITY OF TIWI, PROVINCE OF ALBAY, ISLAND OF LUZON, INTO A NATIONAL PARK TO BE KNOWN AS THE “TIWI HOT SPRING NATIONAL PARK”
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of
Agriculture and Natural Resources, concurrently Chairman, Commission on Parks
and Wildlife, and pursuant to the provisions of section one of Act Numbered
Thirty-nine hundred and fifteen, as amended, and of section two of Republic Act
Numbered Eight hundred and twenty-six, I, Ramon Magsaysay, President of the
Philippines, do hereby revoke Executive Order Numbered Forty, series of
nineteen hundred and thirteen, and convert the area embraced therein situated
in the barrio of Naga, municipality of Tiwi, Province of Albay, Island of
Luzon, into a National Park to be known as the “Tiwi Hot Spring National Park”
under the control and administration of the Commission on Parks and Wildlife.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 10th day of
July, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-four, and of the Independence
of the Philippines, the ninth.
