RESERVING FOR PARK PURPOSES A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN COMPRISING LOTS Nos. 544, 5202, 3025 and 545, CEBU CADASTRE AND A PORTION OF THE RECLAIMED AREA OF THE CEBU WATERFRONT, SITUATED IN THE CITY OF CEBU
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of
Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 83
of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or
settlement and reserve for park purposes under the administration of the Commission
of Parks and Wildlife, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to
future survey a certain parcel of the public domain comprising lots Nos. 544,
5202, 3025 and 545, Cebu cadastre, and a portion of the reclaimed area of the
Cebu waterfront, situated in Cebu City and particularly described as follows:
“Bounded on the north, by Legaspi street; on the
east and south, by Quezon Boulevard; and on the west, by the area reserved for
the Custom House and Plaza Independencia; containing an area of 39,965 square
meters, more or less.”
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 26th day of
February, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-five, and of the
Independence of the Philippines, the ninth.
