CALLING A NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF EMPLOYERS AND OF LABOR ORGANIZATIONS ON MAY 26, 27, AND 28, 1955
By virtue of the power conferred upon me by
section 20 of Republic Act No. 875 and upon the recommendation of the Secretary
of Labor, I, Ramon Magsaysay, President of the Philippines, do hereby call a
national conference of representatives of employers and of labor organizations
on May 26, 27, and 28, 1955, in the City of Manila, for the consideration and
adoption of voluntary codes of principles in regard to labor-management
relations designed to promote industrial peace and the general welfare.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of
February, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-five, and of the
Independence of the Philippines, the ninth.
