DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 14 APRIL 2021, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CEBU



WHEREAS, on 14 April 2021, Wednesday, the City of Cebu will mark the celebration of the 500th year of the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Cebu be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Wednesday, 14 April 2021, a special (non-working) day in the City of Cebu.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
