[ MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 82, November 11, 2020 ]

SUSPENSION OF WORK IN GOVERNMENT OFFICES AND CLASSES IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS AT ALL LEVELS IN REGIONS II, III, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, V, CORDILLERA ADMINISTRATIVE REGION AND THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION EFFECTIVE 3:00 P.M., 11 NOVEMBER 2020 (WEDNESDAY) UNTIL 12 NOVEMBER 2020 (THURSDAY) IN VIEW OF THE CONTINUING INCLEMENT WEATHER BROUGHT BY TYPHOON ULYSSES



Upon recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in view of the continuing inclement weather brought about by Typhoon "ULYSSES," work in government offices and classes in public schools at all levels in Regions II, III, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, V, Cordillera Administrative Region and the National Capital Region, are hereby suspended effective 3:00 PM today, 11 November 2020 (Wednesday) until 12 November 2020 (Thursday).

However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies, offices and schools is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
