SUSPENSION OF THE ISSUANCE OF PROVISIONAL AUTHORITY FOR CPC WHICH APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF VALIDITY IS PENDING BEFORE THIS BOARD



Due to the clamor of various transport groups, this Board will no longer issue a Provisional Authority for a Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) of a public utility vehicle when an application for extension of its validity has been filed before this Board.

As a necessary consequence, the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the Traffic Management Group (TMG), the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and/or other traffic enforcers are hereby ordered not to apprehend any public utility vehicle falling under this category provided that the driver of the unit can show a copy of application for extension of validity duly received by this Board.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately.
